Summary/Abstract: The study discusses the particularities in the relations between two of the leading Revival period journalists and politicians. The publications of Petko Slaveykovwhich are analyzed here and which comment on the personal behaviour and journalist activities of Marko Balabanov reveal a range of deeper clashes between the two notable figures of the period. The public milieu of the Revival press gives grounds for considering the methodology and structure of the political through the stereotype, preconditioned by consciousness, languages, educational background and mentality.
