The general topic in Rayko Alexiev’s text, composed of 8 pictures, is Rodopi Mountain – the emblematic natural image of Bulgarian interwar exotism. The critical attention in the article is on the Alexiev’s humour and satire, their presence in newspapers and the role of satirization in revealing the abstract nature of social ideologies.
