Summary/Abstract: Dictionaries of such typologically distinct languages as Swahili and Polish and such non-commercial as Swahili face many challenges not encountered in other publications. Such dictionaries are rarely published and then rarely updated. Therefore, their authors often tend to insert a lot of information. In this paper, we present a new Swahili-Polish dictionary developed for learners of Swahili in Poland. We present its learner-oriented features and grammatical assumptions, which were undertaken to facilitate language acquisition.
