Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the Agrokomerc affair – an economic scandal that resulted in fall of the influential Pozderac family, veterans of the communist movement in Bosnia. These events are analyzed in their wider context – the crisis in the whole Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, failed reform attempts and Slobodan Milošević’s rise to power. Theories about the alleged political character of the whole matter are also discussed.
