Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to present partial results of the research focused on media education in primary schools in Slovakia. The results are related to the issue of setting boundaries for pupils of the third year of elementary school. We have observed which boudaries and rules do parents set for their children in terms of watching TV and using personal computer at home.
