Summary/Abstract: Quantitative research and measurement in pedagogy, although criticized by many and often underestimated, is nevertheless necessary in the implementation of a number of educational and research projects, and it should be continuously improved. An interest in the global approach will focus on methodological limitations and inconsistencies in quantitative research with the attempt to identify opportunities for their improvement and minimization. In particular, it will concern irregularities related to the development of the justification of the topic, the formulation of research issues, the selection of research methods and techniques, and the deficiencies in the analysis of research results.
