Summary/Abstract: In the article concerning the works of Gaja Grzegorzewska, I look closely at the category of pleasure as a key category for investigations conducted by the main heroine. The author constructs a specific relationship between the female detective and men, who also play a significant role in solving crime riddles. They are usually involved in a triangle, from which none of the participants are able or desire to free themselves. Thus, we have a story about crime, mysteries, and secrets from the past, the foundation of which proves to be the progression of addiction based on passion, lust, and pleasure. Sex becomes symbolic – through sex, the protagonists solidify their involvement in the investigation. When the tension between them begins, the pursuit of the offender continues.
