Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the review and analysis of Polish reportages of the last decades translated in the Ukrainian language. On the basis of the texts-reactions to the books of reportage the article’s author highlights the most urgent problems for the contemporary Ukrainian culture, namely those related to overcoming the postcolonial inertia, the construction of a new “post-Maidan” identity and the building of a Polish-Ukrainian understanding by overcoming the longstanding historical stereotypes.
