Summary/Abstract: In the field of the SFL teaching for polish native speakers; we face the problem of the interference that happens when diminutives are being used; because of their pragmatic interpretation that offers different solutions for Spanish and Polish native speakers. Precisely for this reason; the aim of this work will be to reveal the interpretative differences that exist in the use of particular diminutives in the interactional field; since errors in the interpretation of communicative statements could occur at the moment of interaction between a Spanish-speaking person and the Polish apprentices. Thus; having obtained the analysis of a small corpus that is based on the real communicative situations; we will make a didactic proposal in order to improve and develop the sociolinguistic and pragmatic skills when it comes to the usage of the diminutives in real communicative situations in Spanish.
