Summary/Abstract: In this paper; we make a comparative analysis of the results we have obtained about the development of the writing process among university Spanish students linked to nonlinguistic academic disciplines and polish university students who are fully familiar with subjects about Spanish language. From both diagnostic test and measurement of their written production and with some evaluation sheets; we have described the three stages which form the knowledge of written composition: planning; text development and revision. In every stage we analyze the following aspects: outline-script (planning) text development and adaptation (contextualization); spelling; accents and punctuation (revision).
