Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of research on the description of diplomatic vocabulary in the translation dictionary (“Diplomacy and politics. Russian-Polish dictionary survey”). The process of extracting equivalents from texts and creating entries is illustrated by ten examples. The author analyzes selected pairs of equivalents from three perspectives: lexicographical, comparative and translational perspectives.
