Summary/Abstract: The memory of refugees is subject to various reconstructions. The content of the memory serves as evidence in the procedure of applying for international protection. Refugees’ narratives form the basis for specialists in various fields to provide assistance and information or to introduce institutional changes. The authors formulate postulates regarding educational, animation and cultural activities that support the role of memory in mental, social and cultural integration of the refugees.
