Summary/Abstract: Frequenting spas in the late 19th century became mandatory, conventionalized social ritual, which competed with health sphere of life. The requirements and needs of the body organized healing space which corresponded to physiological and entertainment guest’s amenities. The body becomes tool, limited by medicine subject of experiments swimming, hydrotherapy. By this has been breached border between individualism, privacy and mass.
