Summary/Abstract: The main challenges to the economic planning have synthetic expression in the results which are expected from the development of the integration process in the future. Certain results serves and stands for an expedient transition to Knowledge Economy and Sustainable Development but other ones don’t guarantee the accomplishment of this stage. The economic planning takes a main place at the modern system for management of the integration process. The mission of the economic planning is to lead the EU economy to the path of the economic development and growth according to the social, economical and ecological aspects. The main approaches and basic points of that process are introduced in the present paper.
