Summary/Abstract: n a world conceived as a planetary site where modern means of communication are increasingly silencing the space between people, society is constantly searching for everything that can lead to the end goal quickly and with little effort. The field of human language does not escape the tendency to resort to means that could reduce time and space. In this article we propose an authentic analysis of some linguistic means that allow us to say many things, but which require a minimum of time and effort. We will examine in particular the phonetic changes, which affect the expression plan of the linguistic sign, and their role in realizing and ensuring the principle of economy in language
