Short Description
European Journal of Public Order and National Security is a scientific, international database indexed journal, providing original articles dedicated to the field of Internal Affairs, Public Order, National Security, but also related sciences (for example Law). The journal was released in early 2014 and is published by European Association of Scientific Research and Romanian Police Academy. The journal is disseminated thru a various number of international database, catalogues and research portals (see Indexation section for details). Since 2015, the journal is being indexed within CrossRef Database. While within the institutions of training professionals in the area of Internal Affairs and Public Order/National security were dedicated journals linked to specific sub domains of police work (security, forensics, law, internal affairs), there was no general environment to publish and disseminate results linked to research in the fundamental domain of Public Order and National Security. Furthermore, there is no journal published in English language - and this means a limited degree of international transparency and cooperation. As such, the decision to create this type of journal was taken under evaluation, with an express idea to provide an environment accessible for practitioners and researchers from both Romania and other countries.
