Artykuł poświęcony jest postaci sługi Bożego Franciszka Jerzego Powiertowskiego, polskiego nowicjusza Karmelu Terezjańskiego. Franciszek Jerzy Powiertowski urodził się 3 grudnia 1917 r. w Warszawie i został ochrzczony 20 stycznia1918 r. w warszawskiej parafii św. Aleksandra. Zginął 24 sierpnia 1944 r., ugodzony kulą hitlerowskiego żołnierza. Splot wszystkich okoliczności jego śmierci wskazuje, że jej zasadniczym motywem była wrogość systemu nazistowskiego wobec Kościoła katolickiego, a w szczególności nienawiść miejscowych dowódców hitlerowskich wobec wspólnoty zakonnej żyjącej w konwencie czerneńskim.

W „małej drodze maryjnej”, proponowanej przez Marie de Fiesole, kluczowym jest odwołanie do metafory życia in sinu matris: stania się maleńkim pod sercem Najświętszej Panny, by całkowicie poddać się działaniu Chrystusa. Duchowość „życia w Maryi” jest chrystocentryczna, sakramentalna i kontemplacyjna. Naśladując Maryję w Jej uniżeniu, osoby wierzące przeżywają uczestnictwo w Eucharystii jako spotkanie z Panem w bijącym sercu Kościoła. W artykule podjęto także próbę ukazania małej drogi maryjnej od strony duszpasterskiej. Książka La toute petitesse jest mało znana, ponieważ wydano ją przed wielu laty we Francji w dwóch niewielkich nakładach. Artykuł ma na celu przybliżenie duchowości Marie de Fiesole szerszej grupie czytelników, zwłaszcza osobom zainteresowanym duchowością maryjną i karmelitańską.

Nell’elaborato vengono presentati diversi insegnamenti dei Padri della Chiesa circa il corpo e il sangue; viene spiegato il simbolismo del calice, del pane e del vino come espressione ampia dell’orizzonte delle ansie umane. Viene mostrata e caratterizzata la dimensione fisica della persona umana, su cui si poggia e si sviluppa la vita spirituale. La natura umana assunta da Cristo e stata permeata dal suo Spirito, e stata divinizzata. La comunione eucaristica ci permette di unirci con Cristo e di assimilarci alla volonta di Cristo. L’accoglienza dello Spirito Santo fa si che l’uomo carnale diventi un uomo spirituale. Trasformati dal Corpo, dal Sangue e dallo Spirito di Cristo, formiamo la Chiesa - il Corpo Mistico di Cristo - composto dal Capo e dalle membra, vivificate dal suo Spirito.

L’articolo espone uno degli argomenti principali della tesi dottorale dell’autrice, la quale tende a dimostrare, sulla base delle relazioni di Teresa d’Avila con Dio e con la propria comunità, documentate nel Cammino di perfezione, che Teresa puo essere chiamata educatrice. Tale titolo viene sostenuto dal fatto che ella, in risposta alla richiesta esplicita delle sue consorelle, di scrivere qualcosa sulla preghiera, offre loro un’opera in cui insegna a pregare, non solo con lezioni teoriche sull’argomento, ma soprattutto attraverso dialoghi vivi con Dio, composti nel momento redazionale.

Te ścieżki zostały rozwinięte w świetle duchowych autorów Karmelu, a konkretnie św. Teresy od Jezusa i Małej Teresy.

L’autore si pone il problema dell’obbligatorieta della riposta alia vocazione religiosa. All’inizio riassume brevemente lo status questionis al riguardo, che consta di due atteggiamenti opposti: quello restrittivo - la vocazione obbliga perfino sotto pena dell’inferno; quello liberale - la vocazione e semplicemente una proposta. In seguito fa una critica per poi passare al pun to centrale della riflessione, e doe alia presentazione di una sua nuova proposta che prende in considerazione una visione integrale della vocazione umana. Ne esamina diversi aspetti e punti di vista, defi- niti argomenti assolutamente necessari nel processo di discernimento della chiamata religiosa: la dignita della persona umana, la chiamata universale alia santita, il carisma ed il bene della persona, il processo di santita.

L’articolo presentato è uno studio basato sulle fonti carmelitane provenienti dal Seicento. Nell’ambiente del Carmelo polacco nascente, un autore sconosciuto ha redatto una collezione delle usanze dei novizi carmelitani, le cosiddette „Costumanze”. Un esemplare, scritto a mano, si trova nell’Archivio della Provincia di Cracovia dei Carmelitani Scalzi a Czerna. Le „Costumanze” era un manuale che regolava il complesso degli atteggiamenti e dei comportamenti damantenere nelle diverse circostanze: in chiesa, in coro, in refettorio, in cella, durante la liturgia, la preghiera mentale, la ricreazione o il capitolo di comunità.

One of the most frequently explored dimensions of the spiritual life of St Teresa of Jesus is the complex theme of her prayer: the vibrant friendship with God. Most publications focus primarily on what constitutes an inestimable wealth for the Church, which is the mystical phase of Teresa’s prayer. But in this article the research area is the first period of the Spanish mystic’s life of faith, which is a common ground for all believers. The present analysis refers to the rarely discussed aspect of her spiritual life: the fear of God.

Biblical anthropology presents a monistic image of the human being, in which a human is a spiritual and physical unity. However, a more detailed study reveals some difficulties. The most typical example is the popular understanding of the term “soul.” Its exact meaning corresponds closely to the biblical Hebrew term of rûaḥ (spirit) or nišmat ḥajjîm (breath of life). The Hebrew noun nepeš, which is often translated as “soul,” appears actually more complex. Its meaning includes also the following modern terms: throat, life, person, human. The present study draws attention to the historical development of some Hebrew and Greek terms as well as ideas of biblical anthropology and eschatology, e.g. “soul,” “person,” “human” (nepeš, psychē), “body” (bāśar, sarks, sōma), “spirit” (rûaḥ), “heart” (lēb/lēbāb), the idea of the “afterlife” and the “spiritual body” after resurrection.
