The contemporary Orthodox Theology is altogether and at the same time, Path, Truth and Life (cf. Ioan 14, 6) for today’s world. The contemporary Orthodox Theology “yesterday, today and forever, is the same” (cf. Evrei 13, 8). The Romanian Orthodox Church from Banat, faithful to the Orthodox principles and commandments, has always been an institution in service of her flock. Thus, because the Romanians from this region desired to be united with the Romanians from all other provinces, the Church, through its ministers, supported this desideratum. After the World War II, when the moment for this unification came, the bishops, the deans and the entire clergy from Banat were, alongside all political representatives of the people, the first fighters for the national ideals of unity.

Many writers, journalists and artists have assumed a range of roles, that streched back to the Enlightenment and its conceptions of pedagogy.

Parochial life in a certain community must act as an agreement between liturgical life and the way we proceed with our ministration in the world, by facts, gestures or charity, by which we spread the Words of Christ. The pastoral methods briefly mentioned in this work are part of the most beneficial ones and the most prosperous ones, when it comes to salvation. Therefore, as we have mentioned in this study, the methods listed are part of the activities for serving of mankind, which the Orthodox Church enforces, on a social, as well as a cultural level.

The year 2019 is for the Bishopric of Caransebeș a landmark commemorating the seven decades since the dissolution of the diocese in 1949, but at the same time a anniversary year, if we remember the 25 years since the Diocese of Montane Banat was restored by the toil of the Metropolitan, of worthy commemoration, Nicolae Corneanu. In this context, it’s offered for meditation these two cumulative events under the generic The Bishopric of Caransebeș - Crucifixion and Resurrection. In a completely providential way, this year the founding works of the new buildings belonging to the monastery of Christ the Pantocrator, in Alba Iulia, respectively the former monastery Nativity of St. John the Baptist, led the Archdiocese of Alba Iulia to transfer the remains of the hierarchs who are resting in this place. Thus, through the goodwill of His Eminence IRINEU, Archbishop of Alba Iulia, at the persisted wish of His Grace LUCIAN, Bishop of Caransebeş, of the Eparchial Council and of the intellectuals from Caransebeș, with the blessing of His Beatitude DANIEL, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, on July 25, 2019, the remains of Bishop Veniamin Nistor were exhumed, and on July 27, 2019, they were brought to Caransebeș by a delegation of the diocese and deposited in the episcopal chapel within the eparchial residence. The religious ceremony of reburial of the hierarch’s remains took place on August 1, 2019, at the historical cathedral, Saint George in Caransebeș, after that the body was buried in the Church of Saint John the Baptist, from Caransebeș, the necropolis of the bishops. On this occasion there was a allocution about evoking the personality of the martyr bishop Veniamin Nistor, which is, in fact, the present study. We consider it appropriate to publish the present study in the metropolitan periodical Altarul Banatului, since the evoked personality is the originator of this periodical in 1944.

As year 2019 is dedicated, within the Romanian Orthodox Church, to celebrating the Romanian village, we shall further on speak about the changes in mentality and behavior in social and ecclesiastic life of the Banat village, with a particular perspective on the Borlova Parish, within the Caransebeș Eparchy; please also note that these changes are present, with small variations and particularities, in almost all villages (parishes) of the Mountainous Banat, on the Sebeș Valley.

Every moment should be received, lived, filled with sense and meaning, and lit by prayer. The Hesychast Orthodox Prayer fills to the fullest extent, warms, ignites and flames the golden Cup gem of every moment in our earthly and Christian life. Each moment has its infinite value, that is why a man, a Christian, a clergyman or a monk is bound to connect, bind and hang every moment of his life by faith, hope and love, humility, repentance and weeping, of God’s eternity, for eventually God’s eternity will call to judgment and judge the moments of our life, separating them as the shepherd breaks up the lambs from the goats.

In the Arad area, after the establishment of the Orthodox Preparatory High School (1812), the first senior being the priest Dimitrie Țichindeal, in 1822 the Clerical School was established, for two years, with teachers Gherasim Raț and Gavril Guliani. The school had a seminary rank, receiving graduates from trivial school or high school. At the same time, he was established at the Orthodox Clerical Schools in Timișoara and Vârșeț, where he taught the future Metropolitan of Transylvania, Andrei Șaguna.
