The European Commission’s Spring Report endorsed its October 2012 positive recommendations, recording progress made in the implementation of EU-related HLAD reforms, in improving good-neighborly relations, and urged for immediate enforcement of the March 1, 2013 political agreement. However, on June 27-28, the Council’s agenda did not include discussions on the progress made by the Republic of Macedonia towards opening EU membership negotiations and, consequently, no date for opening accession talks has been set.

In spinning mills, the optimal correlation between the raw material properties, the yarn's characteristics and the manufacturing technology is a key point for the production of good quality yarns. Beyond of its significant influence on the yarn characteristics, the raw material determines also the yarns' cost, representing up to 80% of it. Using the blending technique, in which fibres with different properties are combined in order to obtain a mixture with average characteristics, it is possible to valorise all types of fibres and to produce yarns with the desired characteristics. In this regard, the yarn designer has to choose the appropriate fibres and to set the right values for blend ratios, in order to obtain the best correlation between the fibres blend properties and the yarn characteristics.

The article describes a visit to Bessarabia in 1994, in the context of an event organized by the BBC, and evokes places and people met there. Attention is retained by one of the Bessarabian parishes, Sângereii Noi. Father Sava used to recount that from a thousand churches in interwar Bessarabia, during the Soviet regime, only one hundred remained in function and from 20 monasteries, there was only one open. The few priests from the villages and towns of Bessarabia did not venture on the streets dressed in cassocks. Countless churches were demolished and this was the fate of the one in Sângereii Noi too.

The present paper aims to present an integrative model of the development of vocational identity in the prevention of the school adaptation difficulties. The transition to another level of education, regardless of age, implies new obstacles and question marks. The essential dimensions of personal orientation in vocational development (psychological, pedagogical and social) are interconditioned and interrelated with each other. Research has indicated that student career exploration can have a positive effect on school engagement. Also, research has confirmed that students who are engaged in their education, consider school as a valuable experience, and want to participate in school activities are more likely to demonstrate high academic achievement (Klem & Connell, 2004; Want & Halcombe, 2010) and are less likely to drop out of school (Finn & Rock, 1997). Educational counseling / vocational education facilitates, through the steps it involves, the emergence of new cognitions, attitudes and effective behaviors. Also, the various practices promoted in school focus on the prevention of problems that may hinder the development and harmonious functioning of the person.
