The article, which is devoted to the establishment of war-time cooperation and partnership among the Soviet Union, the USA and Great Britain during the first months of the Great Patriotic War, deals with the questions of allied aid for the USSR, involved into the war with Germany. The author investigates the whole circle of problems and contradictions among members of Grand Alliance, which made more difficult the organization of effective interaction on the fronts of the Second World War. Also he pays serious attention to the allied interaction in the economic sphere in conditions, when the supplies of weapons and other wellfares from the United States and Great Britain to the Soviets were practically the only possible way of supporting the USSR in struggle against their common enemy - nazi Germany and its allies.

On the basis of new documents, the authors analyze the process of issuance of military money that played a role in the stabilization of the economy of Germany. The authors conclude that the issuance of occupation money was limited and was one of the forms of reparation to the vanquished enemy.

The paper analyzes the articles in Soviet periodicals, devoted to the premiere and subsequent film service of the S. M. Eisenstein picture «Alexander Nevsky». The authors pay special attention to critical responses on the movie, which have been insufficiently explored to this day. Using materials found in contemporary newspapers, scholars disprove the idea that the film was banned after the signing of the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact.

The current article is devoted to one of the notable facts of the Russian Civil War of 1918-1920 - a «travel» of the Nicolas Academy of the General Staff (AGSh) from Ekaterinburg to Kazan' (July 23-24, 1918). Firstly, the author makes an effort to prove the «unplanned character» of the «transition» of AGSh from «The Reds» to «The Whites» in August 1918. Secondly, the complete number of lecturers-genshtabists in The Red Army was more considerable than number in Army of Admiral Kolchak in spite of loss part of the Academic Staff by the «Reds». Thirdly, author looks through the destinies of some people who taught at the AGSh by the different stages of the period 1918-1920.
