Rethinking the Social Action through the Perspective of Multidimensional Education

In a general sense, when “multidimensional educational” is mentioned, there is a general perception related to a deep examination of possible interconnection between different areas of studies or disciplines. By sure, interconnections between Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Technology) can be done easier by a teacher or trainer, most taking into account their initial formation or the continuous training programs in which they were involved during their teaching profession. The same case could be discussed also for the humanistic subjects (Geography, History, Politics). But, as reaching the objectives of a multidimensional education approach (even this is addressed to young students, university students or adults), nowadays, the educational demarche must be centered also on what’s happening with us and around us, what kind of impact do we produce at the level of the community, how the learners understand the real world and its actual rapid changes.

Role of Development of Spontaneity in Teambuilding

The presentation lightens the results of testing a forming program of development of spontaneity as a mean of building a team. It was found that spontaneity and creativity are important components of interaction between team members. The study showed that spontaneity is needed in order to cope with unexpected situations and difficulties which would inevitably arise even in the most predictable situation among the well-coordinated team. Previous studies have indicated that members of the creative team interact freely with each other, inspire each other and work together purposefully. The program of development of spontaneity was developed and approved. Elements of Playback Theatre were used as the main component of spontaneity. Playback Theatre is a theater of improvisation and spontaneity, where viewers tell their stories, and the actors play them immediately on the scene. Directions of training actors of Playback Theatre include: the development of selfreflection, emotional sensitivity, interaction skills, creativity imagination and the ability to feel and hold one selves body and voice. The forming program consists of 6 blocks and is designed for 10 sessions. Based on the findings developed forming program of the development personality’s spontaneity can be considered as an effective means of building a team. During the program there was a process of personal development, together with the obvious process of teambuilding. This program can be useful and used for a wide range of applications in different contexts, which is reflected in the recommendations on the use of forming program of development of spontaneity.

„Olyan akarok lenni, mert ő sikeres” Székelyföldi tizenévesek példaképeiről

Who could be a role model for the teenagers? Whose attitude, outer and inner values appear to the teenagers as an example to be followed? Has the media and media usage an impact on this? How can this be identified? We wanted to find out whether the pupils from our region have role models, if so, who their icons and role models are, who the ones are that have an exemplary behaviour in their eyes, to whom they would like to compare themselves when they grow up. Have the age, the gender, and residence of the pupils any influence on the choice of role model?Have a place among the teenagers’ role models the professional sportsmen? Who are those sportsmen (and which sports), for which the students are enthusiastic about? The football and footballers what role do they “play”? The paper aims to present the role model question among teenagers. The analysis is based on two important surveys conducted among Hungarian teenagers from Szeklerland, Romania (Covasna, Harghita and Mureş counties). The surveys took place in 2012 and 2014. More than two thousand of pupils in the 7th and 11th grades were involved. Can we conclude that the new media brought along the new idols?The media has definitely a strong impact on the young people’s, children’ lives, on their world-perception – can this be identified even here, regarding the role models? What kind of new possibility, new chance or new challenge have the parents, pedagogues, teachers, local communities?

BRAZILIAN POLICY OF EXPANSION IN HIGHER EDUCATION UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF EUROPEAN AND NORTH-AMERICAN MODELS

This study reviews the setting of the upper courses in technology within the democratization processes of access to higher education and analyses whether the reasons listed in the legal documents for the selection of these courses are actually pointed by the students attending them. The exploratory research has found that the peculiarities of each institution, determined by several variables, be they human or material, are key elements for the understanding of a particular educational policy. The proposal of higher courses in technology cannot be considered good or bad, a priori. The contribution of this study, though modest, is to clarify the new contradictions, tensions, demands and contributions, showing features of one of the protagonists of expansion of higher education in Brazil. From the literature review and reports of graduates and students, the survey concludes that the higher education courses of technology today little resemble the 1960s and 1970s. Furthermore, by affording those who were excluded from the higher level of education, higher wages, greater employability and new perspectives of life, these courses can contribute to overcoming social, cultural and economic limitations. Regarding the profile of students, the study attests the symmetry between the profile listed in legal documents and the profile of dozens of students and technologists who contributed to this research by answering the questionnaires.

ФОРМИРОВАНИЕ КАДРОВОГО РЕЗЕРВА СИСТЕМЫ ОБЩЕГО ОБРАЗОВАНИЯ РФ: ОЖИДАНИЯ МОЛОДОГО СПЕЦИАЛИСТА И ГОТОВНОСТЬ К ПРОФЕССИОНАЛЬНОМУ РАЗВИТИЮ.

This article describes the specifics of the formation of the personnel reserve technology in the modern system of general education of the Russian Federation. The objects of study the existing mechanisms for the formation of a personnel reserve of young professionals made legal documentation positioned on the official site, which reflects the creation and development of the personnel reserve in the general education system. The geographical scope of the analysis includes all the federal districts and their subordinate regions of the Russian Federation. The results of the study willingness of young professionals and graduate students for professional development and career growth are also presented in the article. The author diagnoses that in general education the personnel reserve technology associated with the vacant position of the administrative board. However, the article explains the failure in this approach, since the staffing problems of education back to the contradiction between the aging of teaching staff and problems connected with attracting young professionals. As a tool to overcome this contradiction authors offer an enhanced version of the personnel reserve, which includes work not only with the hot spare, but with a strategic reserve, and with young professionals. The article reveals the grounded necessity of promoting the socio-economic and psychological support of professional mobility of teachers. In addition, as the social-psychological problems that contribute to the outflow of young staff from the general education system, acts quite a low social status of the teaching profession, and the material component does not play a key role in this process. One of the most effective mechanisms to improve the social significance of the teaching profession is to create transparent and democratic conditions for professional development and career advancement of young professionals. As a specific mechanism could be considered in this case, the technology personnel reserve and rotation.

Knowledge-intensive activities, such as business services are nowadays more and more concentrated in big citiesor city regions. These activities require skilled labour, so young graduates in particular are present in these areas,while in rural areas labour force is less qualified. In our study we investigate whether this concentrationphenomenon can be observed in Hungary, or rather regional equalization takes place. We analysed spatialdistribution of population’s educational level, in particular spatial distribution of graduates. Our investigation isbased on three censuses of 1990, 2001 and 2011 at settlement level. In our study, we analysed the evolvement ofeducation and its impact on regional inequalities at different regional levels (settlement, micro-regional andcounty level) by using basic statistical and concentration indices.

Postrzeganie i respektowanie norm społecznych przez młodzież w okresie adolescencji

The paper discusses the perception and observance of social norms by adolescent youth. The research was conducted with the diagnostic survey method, among pupils and students of three schooling levels: primary, lower-secondary and upper secondary schools. Subjects associated the notion of “social norms” mainly with the obligation to behave in a certain way, with prohibitions, common customs and orders. Legal and moral norms were considered as the most vital, while minor importance was given to manners, traditions or religious norms. The latter had a low connotation for subjects. Nearly half of them showed the knowledge of social norms, and declared that they strive to abide by them in their everyday life. For adolescence, the main push factors to violate social norms are the need to impress and to follow peer behavior or the defective socialization process. The isolation in the peer group and the loss of respect are considered by adolescents as the most serious consequences of social norm violations.

An analysis of the labor market situation of vocational students based on national and international data

The article focuses on the labour market situation and opportunities of the Hungarian vocational students. After briefly placing the topic in an international context, the study introduces the findings of the Hungarian empirical researches. Due to the differences between the various national education systems, it is not easy to make international comparisons; therefore I chose former socialist countries with characteristics similar to those of Hungary. When comparing the relevant data, it became clear that obtaining a diploma provides more advantages in Hungary. Hungarian researches suggest that vocational schools mostly attract students with poor competence test scores at the end of primary school. Also a significant proportion of these students are disadvantaged. Vocational students are the most likely to drop out of the system and their return to the school later is sporadic at best. Although a completed VET improves their employment conditions and prospects, many of the graduates will leave their profession or do unskilled labour. Their labour income varies greatly depending on their type of trade and experience gained.

Return on Investment in Education. Case Study on Education in Romania

The aim of this study is to develop, test and validate based on a conceptual research model, the influence of education on the GDP/ capita, starting from relevant theories and empirical models from literature or implementing additional impact models and variables. Building on the model developed by Mincer (1995) on the yield rates of investment in education, we applied econometric models for Romania, for the period 1960-2010. The results led to a main conclusion, namely, the importance of investment in education is undeniable, it has positive effect on the economic growth of Romania.

A serious game is a tool increasingly used in various areas of management. The solutions used in their design have a significant impact on the extent they achieve their objectives. Therefore, the authors have attempted to develop a classification of serious games in two important criterias: the type of story and predictability of gameplay from the perspective of the players. Next, they determined possible implications of the use of different options. To achieve this objective they analyzed some training and assessment games with different solutions applied.

Studentų, turinčių regos sutrikimų, profesijos pasirinkimo atitikimas

The choice of profession for visually impaired young people is not easy because it depends on accuracy of images about chosen profession. It is important for the blind persons to understand the peculiarities of their disability, because it may help to make quick decisions when planning the future and profession.The paper deals with visual impairments such as visual sense and visual perception problems, which can not corrected by eyeglasses and contact lenses. The theoretical part discusses, what causes visual acuity and visual field abnormalities. Social adjustment of persons with visual disability requires special attention. If sighted people learn a lot by mimicking others, social adjustment of the blind and partially sighted requires instructions every day. The next stage begins when young people start to study and prepare for labour market.Four students with visual disability participated in the research. The interview method helped to reveal how young people understand their disability and evaluate it. Much attention is paid to explaining of who and how helped young people to choose the profession, why they have chosen studies at Panevezys College and what decided the choice of the particular profession. During the conversations, the authors tried to find out whether the intentions of students when choosing the profession, were adequate. It was interesting to find out if the College community is ready to work with students with visual impairments, and whether equal opportunities for all to participate in learning activities in different forms are created.The research revealed that the disabled meet difficulties in assessing their abilities, limited by disability when choosing the profession, so after one profession have been chosen it is replaced by another one. Vocational guidance of the disabled is insufficient, so they are forced to wander in choosing and changing profession. The College’s community intellectual potential to work with people with disabilities is sufficient, but the College’s technical possibilities are limited: there are no audio recordings of learning materials, JAWS program operating computers.

The article deals with research of the early stage of formation of scientific school of department of Civil Procedure of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University. The achievements of the scientists of the department are analyzed, who were the intellectual founders of its scientific and pedagogical traditions. The urgent problems of civil procedure law science of that time and the scientific achievements of the department, which became cornerstones for its future development and next generations of procedural law scientists, are highlighted.The article presents the research of the subject of civil procedural law by S.Yu. Katz and L.Y. Nosko. Description of L.Y. Nosko’s works is made, in which the author examined some aspects of the method of legal regulation of civil procedure law, which at that time was innovative research direction. M.M. Vasilchenko’s research on the problem of the right to judicial protection as applied in terms of realization of the right to judicial protection by the defendant in a civil process is highlighted.Attention is drawn to the problem of theory of judicial decisions as judicial acts on implementation of the functions of justice in civil cases, particularly to T.N. Gubar’s dissertation research on this issue and to some other research works of the scientist.Yu. M. Chuikov’s position on the legal nature of a separate ruling are analyzed, which were highlighted in a monographic work of a scientist "Separate ruling in civil proceedings". In his further research, the scientist through the institute of separate ruling moves to more generalized research subject - preventive and educational activities of the court as a whole.Part of the work describes the research activities and scientific interests of A.M. Smetska, namely research on general issues on enforcement proceedings.The article also gives a brief description of the further research of the department and educational-methodical literature of the department, published during its existence, is presented.

Primary, Teachers’ Professional Qualification for Teaching Maths

According to contemporary studies the main characteristic of the concept of education, school, mathematics education and learning is developing thinking skills and diminishing the knowledge acquisition1 . The focus lies on acquiring knowledge that can be more or less directly implemented to solve everyday problem situations. Also UNESCO and EU Ministers of Education have issued some recommendations that require increased student activity, development of creativity, independence and thinking skills and training pupils for problem solving. Teaching that encourages memorization, listening and repetition of what pupils have learned should be omitted. Teachers should encourage the development of problem solving skills and logical thinking skills.

NEED FOR TRAINING IN EARLY DEFIBRILLATION WITH AN AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR (AED) – STUDENT SURVEY

Cardiac arrest is a rare but life-threatening condition in which, if not responded to promptly and adequately, full recovery of vital functions is impossible, and in a high percentage of cases, individuals do not survive. It has been proven that the primary measures for survival after cardiac arrest boil down to competent and rapid application of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillation. Any person worldwide can save a life if they have good theoretical and/or practical knowledge and skills to react in such a critical situation. The ability to apply automated external defibrillation quickly and in a timely manner is extremely important. The aim of this scientific report is to investigate the awareness of respondents about the need for training in early automated external defibrillation. Training programs provide information to trainees about the essence of cardiac arrest, methods of cardiac, pulmonary, and cerebral recovery, and about automated external defibrillation. A survey was conducted among 127 students majoring in Medical Assistant, Kinesiotherapy, Medical Nursing, and Midwifery in the period of April-May 2023. The questionnaire included questions about the respondents' awareness of the functions of the automated external defibrillator, their availability in public places, training in early automated external defibrillation, and symptoms of cardiac arrest. The data from the survey show that 1/4 of the respondents have no information about the functions of the automated external defibrillator; 1/3 do not have information about the location of automated defibrillators in public places; 1/3 have no information about training in early automated external defibrillation; 93% of the participants claim that mass training of the population on how to use an automated external defibrillator is necessary, and 94% report that they have the necessary knowledge to be part of a team conducting training for the proper use of the automated external defibrillator. Conclusion: Theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired through training on the use of automated external defibrillators will ensure early recognition of cardiac arrest and the performance of adequate life-saving measures. The application of automated external defibrillators in such conditions is crucial for survival and the minimization of severe complications in patients.

Development of Digital Learning Simulators to Increase Vocational Students' Prior Knowledge

Vocational high schools, receive special attention from the government to produce graduates who are skilled and in line with the demands of the 21st century. The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the education system, necessitating a shift from offline to online learning methods. This research focuses on developing digital simulator learning (DSL) media to improve the prior or initial knowledge and problem-solving skills of vocational school students in the field of motorcycle engineering and business. The novelty of DSL media is that students not only learn through the reading process but can also see visually through the simulation process, and also simulate troubleshooting on vehicles. This study follows the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) model. The research results found that smartphone-based DSL media affected increasing competence in initial knowledge of injection systems, while the effectiveness of DSL media was at a medium level.

Meanings of School Success for the Teenager Students in Vocational Schools, Sports Profile

Success represents a general human value attribute that acquires meanings and forms depending on the field of knowledge to which we refer. In formative-educational activities, it takes the form of school success. The complexity of this concept is widely described in specialized literature, but our current interests are centered on the segment of vocational schools, sports profile, following the period of adolescence. "What meanings does school success have for student-athletes, teenagers?", is the question by which we try to outline the nuances of school success, particularly for this category of students. We start from the premise that the level of students' commitment, and their involvement in school activities largely determines success. Based on this commitment, the targeted students, from the vocational schools with a sports profile, enroll on the path of achieving school success in terms of completing their high school studies, obtaining the final exam diploma, and passing the professional skills certification exam.

Potrzeby edukacyjne nauczycieli kształcenia zawodowego w świetle badań własnych

The article was devoted to the analysis of the educational needs of vocationaleducation teachers based on research conducted among 111 respondents from vocationalschools in the Masovian Voivodeship. The research project was planned and carried out by thevocational education team operating at the Masovian Local Government Center for VocationalDevelopment. Teachers answered questions about their educational needs, preferred formsand expected topics of professional development. The conducted research made it possible toobtain knowledge about the training needs of this group of teachers and will contribute to thedevelopment of an offer that meets their preferences.

Development of Web-based Interactive Media using Genially in Food Technology Course of Culinary Arts Education Study Program

This research aims to: 1) Develop an interactive media using the Genially website in Food Technology course; 2) To gauge the students response towards the Genially media. It was conducted in Culinary Arts Education Study Program of State University of Medan. The research was carried out in April-June 2024. This was a research & development study using the ADDIE development model, consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The media was validated by 3 subject matter experts and 3 media experts, as well as 30 students as the users. The data collection technique was questionnaire. The data was analysed descriptively. The results show that the Genially media can be distributed and implemented in Food Technology course. The validation results from subject matter experts and media experts are in very good category with an average score of 94 percent. Students response towards the media is in very high category with a score of 4.94 out of 5. It can be concludeed that Genially-based media can be used in Food Technology course to improve students’ learning outcome in Culinary Arts Study Program.

Education without aptitude: mismatched vocational personalities for professional placements

Selecting academic fields at university level reflects career interests, which must be alignedwith vocational personalities to avoid job dissatisfaction in the future. Since no earlierstudies were conducted in Pakistan to investigate the compatibility between vocationalpersonalities and career interests of university students, the current study aims to addressthis knowledge gap for the first time in the country. The study also highlights the role ofaptitude testing before being enrolled in a university. As a quantitative survey, the studyadministered the O*Net Interest Profiler on 1503 conveniently selected graduating maleand female students at different universities in Pakistan, with the analysis of vocationalpersonalities based on Holland’s RIASEC codes. The results show that students of pure sci-ences, social sciences, architecture, fine arts, and psychology choose academic disciplinesin alignment with their vocational personalities. Students of computer sciences, manage-ment sciences, electrical engineering, accounting & finance, and mathematics, however,do not select their academic fields in alignment with their vocational personalities. Thestudied male students were significantly more realistic, enterprising and conventional,whereas the female students were significantly more investigative, artistic and social. Thestudy suggests that stakeholders should provide aptitude testing and career counseling atschool and college levels to obtain the best human resources for the country.
