French-Belgian author Paul Emond’s drama volume was translated by Judit Károly and published by Napkút publishing house in Budapest in 2014. The volume contains three one-act plays, situated somewhere on the axis of comedy/tragicomedy/burlesque/farce, but also functioning as parodies of these genres. The reviewer considers that their common features are that they are set in public places, their characters are failed ordinary people living their lives in endless monologues, their main problem being loneliness and the impossibility of ever reaching happiness in their love life. Society is partially to blame for this, but most of all it is their fault: their pettiness, lack of empathy and selfishness.

After surveying the creative methods of the French playwright-director, the review presents three drama adaptations of tales by Pommerat. Little Red Riding-Hood (2005), Pinocchio (2008) and Cinderella (2012) were published by the French publishing house Actes Sud, in separate volumes, in no more than one year after their writing and stage premiere. The reviewer thinks about the French tale-adaptations that they are embedded in the reality of our present, because they question our relationship to the world and the mechanism of our family relations.

Kim jesteś, regionalisto? Sylwetki, opinie, diagnozy to kontynuacja wydanego w 2010 roku przez działający w strukturach Uniwersytetu łódzkiego Interdyscyplinarny Zespół Badania Wsi tomu Ja – regionalista. Refleksje, stanowiska, komentarze. Książka to efekt podjętego w różnych zakątkach polski projektu regionalistów, aby wielostronnie zdefiniować zjawisko regionalizmu.
