The article describes major sources of plastics waste and methods of its recycling. It characterizes plastics and presents their advantages and possibilities of application in the industry. It defines branches of industry and products they produce from plastic. The new act about waste shows disposal methods of waste to producers. There are three major methods of reusing plastic. Choice is dependent on the quality of waste, applied technologies and economic balance. In the future there may be alternative methods of reducing waste and producing energy or recycling materials.

Słoneczne budownictwo pasywne jako alternatywa dla zużycia surowców kopalnych

The article characterizes the problem of energy crisis in the world and in Poland. It is pointed out the need to reduce the consumption of fossil fuels due to their limited resources. Describes the building uses solar energy and the criteria which must be met in order to be referred to as “passive”. Passive systems use the energy of solar radiation by a proper construction of the building, the orientation of the object relative to the world, using natural terrain conditions, buffer floor plan. Brought closer to the idea of passive construction and its impact on the environment. It has been shown that the building is a passive object that does not require a conventional heating system. This can help to reduce the effects of the energy crisis in the world and in Poland.

Wykorzystanie metody elementów skończonych w modelowaniu pola magnetycznego

In the paper have been presented the possibility of using the finite element method in the analysis and measurements that describe the size of the magnetic field. Measurements were performed in program QuickField. The use of simulation methods within the inductance model allows evaluation of the work under specified conditions, external and structural modifications of the system. This program can be also using in environment educational in technical education students.

In the article the influence of spikes on the surface topography areal form removal by polynomial approximation was presented. The cylinder liners after plateau-honing and plateau-honing with additionally added oil pockets were studied. The impact of spikes on the surface topography parameters (from ISO-25178 standard) while form removal was also described.
