The gardening in Hungary owes much to three Bulgarian settlements: Lyaskovets, Draganovo, Polikraishte. Two museums (in Budapest and Lyaskovets) testify to the importance of this link in Bulgarian-Hungarian relations. Draganovo is a village in Gorna Oryahovitsa Municipality, in Central Bulgaria. Draganovo is known in the area for its farms and vegetable gardens. Due to the fertile soil around the village, it is one of the main producers of cabbage and tomatoes in the central/northeastern regions of Bulgaria. After World War II gardeners from Draganovo has been dispatched to Hungary and other parts of Europe to help rebuild the land and make it fertile again. The river Yantra flows through the village. The river contributes for the village's fertile soils. In this book, you will find specific words, part of the dialect of speech from the village Draganovo, collected in a dictionary by Rumen Stoyanov.

According to CLEPA (the European association of automotive suppliers), there are more than 3000 automotive suppliers in EU member countries, with 5mln employees and turnover of more than EUR 600 bln. In Bulgaria, there are more than a hundred companies that deliver components to big multinationals from the automotive sectors. The majority of local suppliers (first, second and third tier) are independent local and foreign companies, although subsidiaries of international first-tier suppliers function as well. Irrespective of certain difficulties in the field research, the findings show the following: - Foreign buyers are not interested in the environmental and social policies of local suppliers. The social and environmental impact of the suppliers within the local community is not an interest as well; - Foreign buyers do not embed in their contracts with the suppliers' requirements for compliance with ESG standards; - Local suppliers comply with the legally established norms about air pollution, the protection of soil and water and the management of the waste. How have we interpreted the above findings: buyers rely on local legislation and they do not go beyond. We did not manage to contact the procurement offices of foreign buyers and their boards. We tried to discover evidence in their annual reports and we interviewed the representative offices of big multinationals - European and Asian. Despite the fact that we received similar answers, we did not include them in our analysis. Our research proved the importance of the holistic approach when evaluating sustainable development policy of listed companies. The reverse mirror is not a research method only. It is another tool for evaluating the effectiveness of sustainable framework of corporate governance.

South Slavonic Apocryphal Collections

This book represents a study of the textology, typology, sources and literary peculiarities of the so-called ’miscellanies of mixed content' in the South Slavonic tradition (from the end of 13th – the beginning of 18th c.) – less known or unknown in the Humanities. The problem is closely related to the apocryphal collections in the Balkan Cyrillic manuscripts, as the Apocrypha are a significant part of this type of manuscripts. The scope of the study is to popularize the series and texts that fill the gap in the translation and perception of the Slavonic Apocrypha. New information is presented over the sources of translations, as well as the compilation approach of Slavonic writers, which reproduces a new version of the texts. The copies of the Slavonic texts are published in the supplement. The typology of manuscripts is supported by plectograms produced in the Repertory of Old Bulgarian Literature and Letters (http://repertorium.obdurodon.org/).

Путешествие Иосафата Барбаро в Персию в 1473—1478 гг. (текст, перевод, комментарий)

This is the first complete publication of the Russian translation, with comments, of the Journey to Persia by the 15th century Venetian public figure, diplomat and traveler Giosafat Barbaro. He headed Venetian embassy to the Persian shah Uzun-Hassan. The discussed travel account was written in late 1480s — early 1490s as a narration of this embassy, during which Barbaro had to make a long and eventful way through different cities and localities of the Mediterranean, Ottoman Empire and Persia. Besides, he provides some details on the countries he had never visited — India and China. Journey to Persia is a valuable source on history of international relations, historical geography, ethnography, economy and culture of medieval Persia and other Oriental countries. The article contains parallel Italian original and Russian translation texts.

U stručnim raspravama koje je organiziralo Ministarstvo znanosti, obrazovanja i športa zaključeno je da prestanak moratorija treba iskoristi kao prigodu da se nastava povijesti toga razdoblja uskladi sa suvremenim dostignućima u metodici nastave povijesti. Deficiențe sistemice identificate în contextul Covid-19 privind dreptul la ocrotirea sănătății

The pandemic generated by the new Coronavirus caused a rapid change in the way of approaching the legal issues and the adaptation to a legislative framework that tried to regulate the new factual situation. A number of notions and legal institutions have acquired a special importance, being necessary their reinterpretation in the context of COVID-19, in order to identify solutions that correspond to these situations that humanity has been facing and, at the same time, have brought to the light systemic deficiencies which until then had not been considered sufficiently relevant or which had been amplified to an incredible extent. Force majeure, state of emergency, military commands, public interest, public health are just some of the notions that got a major role overnight. Emergency medical assistance and dental care, the rights of patients with chronic diseases, the fair balance between restricting the exercise of individual rights and public safety have led to a relaunch of medical law - a branch of law which, until recently, has been in a shadow cone, poorly represented from a doctrinaire point of view. Also, the sudden emergence of an unprecedented new global situation has been a challenge for public administration authorities, both at central and local level, and, in the same time, a necessity to manage it effectively and make appropriate decisions. The objective of this study is to present a retrospective analysis of the most important situations of this kind, from a juridical perspective and the underlining of the found deficiencies.

Reflecții asupra legalității unor acte administrative cu caracter normativ emise de ministrul sănătății în perioada stării de alertă determinată de pandemia COVID-19

Reflections on the Legality of Some Normative Administrative Acts Issued by the Minister of Health During the State of Alert Determined by the COVID-19 Pandemic in the Execution of Law No. 136/2020 on the Establishment of Measures in the Field of Public Health in Situations of Epidemiological and Biological Risk. In the situations of epidemiological and biological risk provided in Law no. 136/2020, if there is an imminent risk, the Minister of Health establishes by order - administrative act of a normative nature - the manner of application of the measures provided in the mentioned law. Thus, the measure of isolation in a health unit established by decision of the public health directorate will be based on the order of the Minister of Health issued for the concrete execution of the law. However, the judicial control of the normative administrative acts is exercised by the administrative contentious court only within the action for annulment, under the conditions provided by Law no. 554/2004, so that ministerial orders cannot be the subject of the objection of illegality. Therefore, persons in respect of whom the measure of isolation in a health facility has been instituted, although they can ask the court to annul the decision issued by the public health directorate, they will not be able to invoke a possible illegality of the order issued by the minister of health, the latter not being able to be the object of the exception of illegality. This is why it is essential that ministerial orders be issued in the letter and spirit of the laws adopted by Parliament. In order to illustrate the (un)lawfulness of normative administrative acts issued by the Minister of Health during the alert period, in this short study we will analyse the orders that imposed the social medical detention of persons infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus after the entry into force of the Law on the establishment of measures in the field of public health in situations of epidemiological and biological risk.

The Rroma bibliography brings together magazines and newspapers that appeared in Romania and in various countries, especially after 1989, which were in the author's personal collection and were donated to the Institute for Studying the Problems of National Minorities in Romania. A similar collection, containing books, brochures and a small number of magazines and newspapers, was donated by the author in May 2015 to the Central University Library in Bucharest, the titles being inserted into a valuable guiding instrument (v. Gheorghe Sarau, Rroma bibliography (books, brochures, magazines, newspapers), Bucharest: University Publishing House, Bucharest, 2016), which helps librarians, researchers and the public interested in the Roma field, but also in support of Roma students from different specialties, or nerroms working with and for the Roma, both in the country and abroad. The journals and newspapers in the present bibliography fall within the scope of the Roma on Romani language and literature, history, anthropology, theater, music, sociology, politics, human rights, children's rights, Roma education, architecture and community development etc. between 1987 and 2014, and some in 1984-1986, 1978-1981 and 1970-1974. Although the collections of magazines and newspapers listed here do not fully cover the years of their appearance, they are still important milestones in the information and research activity in the field of Roma.

Objavljeni primarni izvori iz Osmanskog razdoblja kao doprinos historiografiji Bosne i Hercegovine (2000–2019)

As was evident, even though the period in question was relatively short, a considerably large number of Ottoman materials were published, despite the diverse nature of the sources. This is partly a result of the fact that some of the above work was made even before 1992, either as projects of individuals or institutions. The material may be uniform in its kind, but it still allows the study of numerous issues that can be studied on the basis of published sources, which makes the “uniformity” of materials completely marginal. While an argument could be made in this respect with regard to the temporal disparity of sources, there are a number of other factors that need to be taken into account. First of all, the (lack of) preservation of the materials for certain periods, but also the absence of a strategy that would, in its program, at least to a point define certain guidelines that should be followed in filling certain time gaps, especially when it comes to the 19th century. Regardless of this kind of shortcoming, it can be said that in terms of publishing of sources, this period was still productive, even though there was a significant amount of material that was translated for decades before its publication.

Critical Analysis of the Law No. 151/2015 Regarding the Personal Insolvency Proceedings

The work aims to offer an objective, even critical analysis of Law no. 151 of 20152 regarding the insolvency of natural persons. This regulation, entered into force on 01.01.2018, ̋celebrates ̋ 5 years of application, which is why I approached this topic with the intention of a general analysis of the provisions of the Insolvency Law of natural persons and to offer my own conclusions regarding this topic. I will analyze, in the first part of the paper, the general provision regarding the notion of insolvency, the conditions imposed by law for the initiation of this procedure, as well as the options that Law no.151/2015 makes available to the insolvent debtor depending on his legal situation. In the second part of the paper, I will analyze a series of debatable aspects that the law refers to, and I will assess the usefulness and opportunity of their regulation. The conclusions will try to offer some legislative proposals that will make this law more well-known and approachable for natural debtors in a state of insolvency. Carrying out the scientific approach, I will use different methods of interpretation, starting from the grammatical one and reaching the method of quantitative and comparative analysis.

Wooden and half-wooden sacral buildings, including small sacral constructions, can be found in more funds in the photo-archives at the Institute of Ethnology AS CR, v.v.i. The focus of the contribution is on the funds titled Listing Research of the Czechoslovak Ethnographic Society, which is a result of a large field research made by the Ethnographic Society between 1952 and 1962 under the organization of Karel Chotek and Vilém Pražák. Originally, the research was aimed at the study of the Czech folk culture as a whole; later on, for the time and financial reasons, it focused mainly on the documentation of folk architecture, especially that in the borderlands or regions endangered by mining, hydraulic structures etc.

Osmanlı Tarih Yazıcılığında Biyografi Türü: Taşköprülüzade’nin eş-Şakaiku’n-Nu‘mâniyye Eseri Üzerinden Genel Bir Değerlendirme

The present paper attempts to focus on the first work of biographical dictionary, al-Shaqâ’iq al- Numâniyya, which was completed in 1558 by the famous Ottoman scholar Ahmad b. Mustafâ Tasköprüzâde. After making a brief evaluation on the development of the biography genre in Ottoman historiography, the importance of Shaqâ’iq, which left its mark on the 16th century, and its related problems were discussed. The work, which contains valuable information about the biographies of important scholars, has not been evaluated as a simple collection of “life narrative”. The main problem of the study is to consider how to approach or how one should read this monumental book including biographies of ulema/jurists and sufi masters. As a result of the analysing and discussion held in the light of secondary sources, the biography data shows that they are fond of recording the life stories of the Ottoman world, as well as giving information about the type of biography of the period. Shaqâ’iq, containing biographies of sheiks and ulema, should be consulted for understanding the Ottoman cultural and scientific world rather than as a data collection purpose. It has been concluded that we can catch clues about the socio-economic and political networks of the Empire when we approach the work in question, which we will obtain more than factual information.

PISMA VOJSKOVOĐE SVETOZARA BOROEVIĆA 1912.–1920.

The Croatian National Archives hold ten preserved postcards and twenty letters sent by Svetozar Boroević to Slavko and Olga Kvaternik from 1912 to 1920. Boroević wrote in the German language, in Gothic script. The German text is only occasionally peppered with an occasional Croatian word or sentence. For his part, Boroević refrains from writing in Croatian, uncertain in his knowledge, but he nevertheless expressed admiration for those who knew it. Based on their content, the letters can be divided into two groups. The first group consists of letters written from 1912 to the beginning of 1918, in which “soldierly” and political themes predominate. Boroević, as a high Austro-Hungarian officer, very freely expressed his criticism of his superiors and his political convictions, which can be characterized as “treasonous.” The second group of letters consists of those written after the fall of the Monarchy, in which Boroević’s existential problems are dominant. The famed marshal, together with his wife, was brought to a state of utter uncertainty: cheated, his status was unresolved, as he was expelled from his homeland but had non-permanent residence in Austria, living under trying financial conditions. The entire situation was additionally exacerbated by a family tragedy: the death of his only child, his son. In the new state, in which he was suspect as an imperial military leader, he vainly attempted to demonstrate his view “as a Croat and his influence to contribute to the South Slavs during the war”. Disheartened, he wrote: “I no longer yearn to return to Croatia at all […] I shall never file a request to return and I would be entirely satisfied if they were to leave me in peace to enjoy my retirement where I see fit”. In the last preserved letter dated 23 May 1920, exactly one month before his death, Boroević wrote: “[…] I wonder if Laginja is still ban. […] I will take this last step and ask Laginja, as the highest representative of my homeland, to intervene in Belgrade for my pension. If this produces no results, then I can take no responsibility for what may follow. […] I can not allow such treatment of myself to continue”.

“Our daily crime” seen through the letters and notes of Venetian government representatives in the communes of Brač and Omiš (16th – 18th c.)

The central topic of the paper is focused on research of material from the archival series Capi del Consiglio de’ Dieci: Lettere di Rettori e di altre cariche (Archivio di Stato di Venezia) which contains letters, notes, and reports written by Venetian government representatives in the communes of Brač and Omiš for the Venetian Council of Ten from the sixteenth to the eighteenth century. The research is focused on the prevalence of offenses, incidents, and crimes in the stated material and, considering the historical circumstances and difference in development of those two communes, a comparative analysis of examples by their categories (minor offenses, exiles, verbal incidents, physical violence, murders, etc.) has been made.

Rušenje Austro-Ugarske Monarhije (1914.–1918.). Svjedočanstvo dr. Mate Drinkovića

In this article the author provides a short review of the political activities of a prominent member of the Croatian political elite, Dr. Mate Drinković, in the period from the eve of World War One to the end of 1918. A better understanding of his life and activities in this dynamic period is provided by an appendix which contains a transcription of an archival document written by Mate Drinković which is held in the diocesan archives of Đakovo, among the papers of Mons. Dr. Fran Barac. From this previously unpublished and until now unknown document something can be learned of Drinković’s activities during the war, especially at the end of 1917 and during 1918, on the eve of the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy and the creation of the new South Slavic state.
