The theory and practice of implementation of the art and the education through art begins at the end of the 19-th and the first decades of the 20-th century. At the same time starts the scientific interest towards art as a tool for recreation in the schools and the system of social help and treatment. The second half of the century the art-pedagogical theory and practice turns into central part of the educational system and social pedagogy practice in free time. Today, most of the developed countries have own models for applying art methods and art-animation in work with different groups of clients in social and pedagogical sphere. It is similar in Bulgarian situation and this paper is a short critical survey of the actual point of views and tendencies in social pedagogy nowadays.

AN ATTEMPT TO INTERPRET POETRY FROM THE PSALTER. THE WALL COMPOSITION OF THE VAULT BUILT IN THE 19TH CENTURY IN THE CHURCH OF DOLNA VERENITSA

The report examines and analyses the unique and specific in nature wall decoration in the additionally constructed 19th-century narthex of the church in the village of Dolna Verenitsa. The emphasis in this study is placed on the allegorical rosette created on verses from The Psalter with calendar and cosmogonic interpretations which, in the form they are written/painted, are not found in churches constructed at the same time in the region; and which are of particular interest for iconographic studying due to their singular nature. Emphatic is also the choice of the psalm, and composite references to other churches displaying similar images.

Within the broader discussion about remediation (Bolter and Grusin, 1996), transmedial storytelling (Jenkins, 2006; Ryan, 2013) and transfictionality (Ryan, 2013), the present paper advances the proposal of a comparative intersectional qualitative analysis of femininity in Charles Perrault's version of the story La Belle au bois dormant (1697), Walt Disney’s Sleeping Beauty (1959) and Walt Disney and Roth Films' Maleficient (2014) based upon associations between body representations, age groups and types of character. What would Evil look like if it were a woman? Would she be slender or voluptuous? What about the Good? Would she be wrinkled or sappy? This is a series of topics the current inquiry will put to the issue adjusting the intersectionality theory. However, it is not the experience of oppression that is central to the present analysis, but rather the pattern of intersection between gender, age and good or evil nature and how body representations coagulate at such intersections.

The proposed article shares observations on with the construction of the image of the star in ethno-pop music and the role of the media and media music, with two cases - Slavi Trifonov and Azis. At first glance, they seem very different, but they are actually quite similar - as with the mechanisms of media imposition of the image of the star and the use of the media in the construction of public resources and attachment to civilian causes. The article attempts to interpret current cultural phenomena through their media projections, using Joseph Nye's theoretical statements on soft power; Tyler Cowen's for the Economics of Glory.

„В шепите на Демир Баба“ – наблюдения при премиерата на един нов фестивал

The first celebration of contemporary art in the heart of Ludogorie, called “In the Hand of Demir Baba” – literature, music, theater and “something else”, added a new event in the festival calendar of Bulgaria. Organized by young people with the ambition to promote local cultural heritage and disprove the general view of the lack of interesting and entertaining events outside the capital, the festival, as a pilot, promises more meetings with Demir Baba and asks to become an annual event for sharing culture and meeting with interesting people from all over the country.

The text analyses legal regulations of guarding rights when retransmitting protected works, included within Radio and TV programmes, as different kind of use. The Copyrights and Related Rights Act deals with audiovisual work/soundrecording/videorecording as issues of protection but not with the program as a complex of rights and that reach the public via technological infrastructure. The core ways of protection are implemented in the RTA-broadcasting organisations have guarantees against illegal program retransmission and over protected works within when retransmitted by electronic networks.

The understanding that the social imaginary is not the “opposite” of the real, but a peculiar reality, is among the most important social insights of the last century. For today century, the anxiety of the advance of the imaginaries remains. The article traces their evolution – from collective representations generated in structured communities and reference groups, through virtually formalized subjects, constituted in media, to various forms of narration in virtually collective non-entity. The focus of attention are precisely the “subjectless stories” (conspiracies, social tendencies, social desirability), the imaginary ones launched through them, and the participation of contemporary media in the legalization of arbitrary relationships.

„Младежка тема“ и лирика в българското игрално кино от 70-те и 80-те години на ХХ век

The present text deals with the specific characteristics of the so-called “theme of youth” in Bulgarian cinema during the 70s and 80s of the 20th century. The development of the discussed theme is analyzed in the films “Trampa” (1978), “Mass Miracle” (1981), “Reflections” (1982) and “Megi” (1989). Special emphasis is placed on the role of the verses which are incorporated in these films as well as on the possibilities of interpretation that this creative gesture offers.

90 години Старозагорска опера и 70 години от одържавяването й

90 years ago a group of enthusiasts form an opera ensemble, as it occurs in many other localities. And if after one or two titles everything finishes mainly because of lack of funding, exactly in that consists the heroism of citizens of Stara Zagora: the only amateur ensemble which exists 21 years long, and after that it is nationalized in 1946. The nationalization is a kind of recognition but this leads to shocks. In 1967 lays the beginnings of the annually organized Festival of the Opera and Ballet Arts – a mirror of the achievements in the area of music and performing arts. Because of a conflagration end of 1991 the ensemble left homeless. In 2015 the State Operа Stara Zagora celebrates its 90th anniversary, and on the 1st of April 2016 it is 70 years since its nationalization.

Pirin Pee Festival is an event which demonstrates in a specific way the concepts for safeguarding and popularization of tradition. In its core is the scenic representation of examples of traditional local culture. All this provokes mutual interaction between different points of view to ancient singing and music making – authentic folklore, the motors of the event who are the performers and the organizers (they are mainly connected to amateur art practiced in the different chitalishta) and, on the other hand, those who stay behind the artistic interpretation of the local culture within the frame of professional art. In this context the festival is a place for active keeping to the tradition and its influence in the present as well as in the future. All that contributes to the specific, colorful contemporary picture displayed on the festival that is further observed or enriched by specialists, performers and connoisseurs.

Homo corporalis as the communicated muse and centrepiece of commercialized culture

The study deals with the issue of human corporeality in a retrospective outline of the European cultural tradition and in terms of significant features of post-modern culture, post-modernism and pop culture. The authors form the premise that Homo corporalis has represented the muse of artistic imagination and the centrepiece of everything from ancient culture to the present. At the same time, they argue that Homo corporalis was at the centre of culture throughout individual periods of cultural history, and this position has changed in contemporary social, economic and cultural conditions. While remaining the centrepiece, it has now become the subject and object of commercialised culture. Based on a logical and hermeneutic analysis of relevant source materials and based on empiricism, the traits of the individual cultural epochs are defined and conceptualised within the context of broader cultural associations and artistic visual culture. The assertion is that late capitalism, the post-modern, post-modernism, and pop culture have brought about different kinds of extremes, experiments, peculiarities, provocations, attractions, etc., including paradoxicality. Creators abandoned more noble aesthetics in favour of provocation and experimentation and pop art permeated into all cultural levels, including pop culture and the media. Homo corporalis has been transformed into an individual fixated on his own image and focused on his own goals and pleasures. He is in the position of being the object of commercial interests and their products. His personal goals, attitudes and value scale are formed against the backdrop of the ethos of egoism, individualism, hedonism and narcissism.

The authors of the paper deal with the visual identity of educational institutions. They point at the importance of visual identity for communication about universities. Visual identity is understood as an element of corporate identity which is based on the philosophy of institution. The authors of this paper made research on public universities logos and based on the features they have in common, the authors divided them into three main groups taking into consideration the symbol the logos represent. The authors studied individual design manuals (logo manuals) as the aim of the paper was to identify fundamental issues/ mistakes universities make while creating a logo.

An Overview Of The New Media Role
In Original Literature Publishing In Slovakia During The First Decade Of The New Millennium And Shortly After

Public publishing space for authors of original contemporary literature in Slovakia has changed and expanded significantly in the last three decades since 1989. Due to the development and use of modern technologies and the existence of digital virtual space, nowadays the authors of Slovak literature can publish their texts in many more media than before 1989, and almost without any limitations. However, the literary, aesthetic, cultural or fundamental artistic relevance of such contributions is in many cases controversial. In the context of the publication space of new media, internet portals and online literary magazines often publish without deeper critical selection and (often even minimal objective literary-critical reflection almost everything delivered to their editorial mailbox as by ambitious writers?), as well by those whose works are lacking basic literary talent and the necessary creativity.
 The paper maps the situation in the area of publishing original literature, especially poetry, in Slovakia at the beginning of the 21st century in the context of the use of new media and modern digital technologies.

Expressionism, cradled by Germany, flourished during the so-called "Expressionist Decade" (1910-1920). Its most common socio-cultural precondition is the crisis in the public and moral-ethical consciousness on the eve and during the First World War. It expresses the will to change a generation that grew up with the nightmares of war and the deepening decline of bourgeois-philistine consciousness. Like most modernist trends in art, expressionism uses the provocation of "good taste," the breaking of outdated traditional orders and aesthetic habits. The meaning of the term is derived from "expression" - an expression of feelings, which in the most general sense is the artist's desire to project the torments of his own soul on the depicted object.
