Snakes are one of the most respected animals with an important place in the folkloric traditions of the people of Anatolia, which has a rich culture. Myths about snakes was materialised in Anatolia with the Shahmaran legends and survived as a mythological symbol until today. The Shahmaran Legends, which have signs from Indian, Persian, Greek, Hebrew and Arabic sources, have infiltrated into the daily lives of people to a degree that it affects the daily life, and gained an important place in folk belief. The aim of this work is to determine the effects of Shahmaran to folk belief in Anatolia. In this respect, Shahmaran in intrdoced briefly, three legends told in the vicinities of Adana, Tarsus and Mardin are summarised, and the reflections of Shahmaran on folk belief are touched upon. The collected information have been covered in detail under the relevant subject headings.

“ A-” FİİLİ VE TÜREVLERİ

Turkish, has been followed up by written documents from the thirteenth century to the present day (20th century). The life of the languages; protecting its vitality, keeping up with the conditions of time, and being protected and possessed like a national fortune, depends on the institutions, organizations and individuals belonging to that language. The prosperity of the tongues and the disappearance of them are the same as those of interest. However, the voices to enrich the language, the harmony between the voices and the additions, roots and words they create are important factors. We also tried to emphasize the use of "a" as one of the voices that have an exceptional place in our language as the verb root and the meanings of the words it created. When we consider the meanings of the words directly or indirectly, almost all of these words have the function of "leaving". However, the function of parting, which is seen in verbs such as "to clarify, to be ignored" the verb is not as clear as the body. This shows that there is a slight shift in meaning in every word construction. In our work, based on the works written in various periods of the Turkish language, especially the TDK dictionary, and the works done on these works, these functions were introduced and explained. Nevertheless, it is not claimed here that all the derivatives derived from the mentioned radical (a-) are shown. The main point we see in these examinations is that sometimes "leaving" functions are seen in indirect expressions. This must be the richness of the Turkic.

TÜRKÇEDE VE ALMANCADA SES BENZEŞİMİ

Sound affinity (Lat. assimilare "to make similar", Akkomodation, assimilation, melting (Verschmelzung) and transition (Überführung), in other words assimilation is voice change and simulation event in the language, which represents the pragmatic transition towards simplicity from complexity. This generally takes place in (diachronic) changes as well as the language, but also (synchronic) occurs. Turkish and German, although belonging to different language families, have mostly similar and sometimes different sound change features. Nasal types of sound change simulation are nasalisation, palatalisation, forward simulation, backward simulation, senorisation between vowels, vowel harmony, latest vowel deleting, the last vowel drop, drop of inner vowel, sound derivation, the pre-derivation, the inner derivation, the last derivation, methathesis, displacement, drop of syllables, dissimilation, anomaly, reiterative, degemination, cohesion, coming side by side of two vowel, change and rounding of the middle syllable vowel. Sounds that are the basic building blocks of a language, however, are consistent within the confines of the basic sound rules of the language, and they form roots and affixes, syllables, words and phrases. This formation is quite impressed with each other. Proper usage and understanding of a language are possible through knowing well the sound change events which seen in accents and mouths.

ENÍSÜ’L-GUZZÁT’IN DİL ÖZELLİKLERİ

The poetic work named Enìsü'l-GuzzÀt had been written by Hussein Futuh who is one of the sixteenth century poets. The book is about Suleiman the Magnificent’s Hungarian expedition in 1526. In our study, first introduction of the work is done, and then information is given about how many copies it occurred, where it is and its content. Then, the different aspects of the work on the language features of this period were stated, as it is subject of this study. In the development process of Turkish, sixteenth century is the period when Old Anatolian Turkish ended and Ottoman Turkish period started. Although Enìsü'lGuzzÀt, which is subject of our study, written in sixteenth century it cannot be said that the work have the properties of this century. In general it has the language features of fifteenth century but in some cases such as usage of some suffixes it has sixteenth century features so this work is acknowledged as a transitional period work. The aim of this study is to find which language features of Enìsü'l-GuzzÀt carry the features of fifteenth century and which carry the features of sixteenth century. Aspects of the work parallel to and incompatible with the period features will be discussed. Language features of this work written in sixteenth century will provide a useful material for the scientists working in the field of Turkey Turkish grammar. The work has a different vocabulary because of being a work about history. Revealing this vocabulary will provide material for the scientists working on Turkish language and it will contribute historical dictionary of Turkish and also it will be a source for researchers who will study on Ottoman history.

Şeyyâd Hamza’nin Yûsuf Ve Zelîhâ’sinin Söz Varliğina Dair Bir İnceleme

The texts of the historical periods of the languages are very important for the sound, shape, syntax and especially the diachronic and synchronic work. In these kinds of studies, besides the changes of sound and shape, meaning changes, word loss etc. and the reasons for their occurrence. For this reason, dictionary works are the most important supporters of grammatical studies. Dictionaries are very important in terms of expressing the existence of a language in a certain period. In this context, the works belonging to the first periods of the Oguz Turkic which is an important branch of the Turkic are among the primary and important resources in terms of the emergence of this branch and the treasury. One of these sources is Yusuf and Zelîhâ mesnevis, which belong to Şeyyad Hamza. The story of this work contains many words and phrases that are used in the simple, plain and most modern Turkish of Old Anatolian Turkic. This study tried to reach some evaluations about the vocabulary of Old Anatolian Turkish by moving from the index part of the work done by İbrahim TAŞ regarding the mentioned work and moving from the rich word existence of Yûsuf and Zelîhâ.

Sentential Subjects and the Freezing Principle in Turkish

The Freezing Principle, which claims that nothing can be extracted out of a moved element, was proposed to replace the pre-minimalist subject condition effects. In the present paper, extractions out of sentential subjects have been analyzed to determine the functionality of the Freezing Principle in Turkish. In the analyses of the scrambling and wh-movement structures, it was observed that the Freezing Principle successfully explains the violations that take place in such extractions. As for the relativization structures, the previous studies assert that it is possible to extract elements out of moved phrases in such constructions, which should not be possible under the freezing approach. For such constructions, this paper proposes cyclic movement of the relative clause operator from the lower embedded CP to the upper embedded CP. During this movement, this operator is not extracted out of any moved phrase; therefore, the Freezing Principle is not violated. This paper proposes that the Sentential Subject Constraint holds in Turkish and the Freezing Principle successfully explains all instances of ungrammatical sentential subject extractions.

In this study, 'cartoons' which have functional values in Turkish teaching but not utilized as much as necessary are considered. The study first deals with the characteristics of the cartoon as a pedagogical material in educational settings, its types and the importance of using it in education and the literary works on cartoon are mentioned. In addition is emphasized the status of the cartoon placement in Turkish Teaching Programme published in 2005 and following years. At the end of the study, given place course activity including cartoon studies to illustrate its usefulness as a pedagogical material enriching Turkish education text processing process of cartoon.

KAĞIZMANLI HIFZI’NİN ŞİİRLERİNDE KULLANDIĞI YÖRESEL AĞIZDAKİ KELİMELER

Through this study data analysis and document review method, its local mouth properties were examined in order to recognize and recognize Kağızmanlı Aşık Hıfzî in the 100th year of death. The word "bala" in the poem owl is used in the sense of the son in general and used in the "very loved one". Again, the word "branch" in the same poem refers to "back, back" and is widely used in Kars region. In the poetry of flowers, the words "domurcuk, mynine and geyinmiş" are the words used in this region with the influence of Azerbaijani Turkic in the same way. Both morphologically and phonetically, local words have been identified and explained. Kağızmanlı Aşık This study, which was made in order to better understand the reasons of preference of words of Hıfzı, the depth of meaning, the world of emotion and thought, only covers the words preferred by local people.

KOSOVA’NIN MORAVA YÖRESINE BAĞLI DOBURÇAN’DA TÜRKÇE EĞİTİM

In some towns and villages of Balkan territory, the Turkish community lives. Nowdays, as is known the large plurality of the Turkish population who are living in the Republic of Bulgaria, as well as in Macedonia and Kosovo, they are communities with a population of second or third in these states. Turks who live in villages or towns they speak their own Turkish language. Also Turkish language and traditions in Balkan geography speak Turkish due to the Turks who living there. But these last years due to the economic and political affairs of the Turks in these countries were forced to move. But who lives in Balkan countries, they continue to keep Turkish and culture language with fanaticism. With this paper we have researched the language and Turkish education in Balkan state of Kosovo, and especially in a settlement such as Doberqan. This is an important topic for the rise of Turkish consciousness and the Turks of Balkan. Also the essence of Turkish schooling research in Doberqan, to approach the difficulties, and to offer solutions to the problems with which they are faced.

ULAHLAR (KARAKAÇANLAR) ve TÜRKÇE

The languages that were subjected to the biggest Turkish influence over the course of the history of the Turkish language are found in the Balkan Peninsula. Despite the many works in which the Turkish influence over the Balkan languages is researched, the influence over the small ethnic groups has not been sufficiently taken into account. They way the language of the Vlachs, who lived a nomadic life by constant change of the places in the mountainous Balkan Peninsula was influenced by the Turkish is a mystery which arises curiosity. Especially, the influence in the language of this society, which leads a life which can nearly be referred to as isolated, shows us the depth and the stregth of the Turkish influence over the Balkans. Undoubtedly, the influence of the Turkish over the Vlach language is weaker than the one over the Slavic Languages. But neverhteless, it is important. Apart from the thousands of words, proverbs and phrases, Turkish suffixes and verbs are also used by the Vlachs. Some of the elements that can be seen in the Vlach language are words like: bılıgica < bilezik, binae < bina, cacac < kaçak, direc < direk, dirvis < derviş, elbete < elbette, filan < filan, elbete < elbette, yera < yara, ikindie < ikindi; proverbs and phrases like“ala bin bereket versin”, “ala kerim”, “cacir keif”, “dur bakalım”; verbs like artirisire < arttırmak, cabardisire < kabarmak, docunisire < dokunmak, surdisire < sürmek; sufixes like -ci (çi), -li,-lik: ibrikçu < ibrikçi, batakçi < batakçı, hairli < hayırlı, nişanlı < nişanlı etc.. In this paper, by analysing some of the Turkish words, grammatical elements, proverbs and phrases in the language of the Vlachs (Karakachans), we will shortly elaborate the Turkish influence over the language of this minority group.

Despite the fact that the Turkic peoples, who played an exceptional role in the development of human civilization, have very ancient roots and numerous studies in this area, the process of formation of Turks and the process of formation of an ethnos has not been fully clarified. On the one hand, in this case, the Turks were the oldest inhabitants of the human race and the lack of material (especially written) evidence to clarify the process of their early birth, but on the other hand, the elementary and biased attitude to the investigation of the Turkish history has been made. It is also possible to observe the language phenomena related to the historical roots of the Turkic languages and to explain the morphological-syntactic categories. However, historical research has shown that the Turkish history should be taken from the same source as the beginning of any category in the grammatical structure of the Turkic languages, as it is with the Sumerians, the oldest inhabitants of the world. There are quite a few historical and linguistic grounds in the Turkish language to start from the Sumerian-Turkish history.

Bałkańskie adaptacje tureckiego sufiksu -çi / -ci

In the paper we reflect on which of the allomorphs of a suffix should be considered its basic form (and on what grounds). This problem requires morphonological analysis. We will illustrate this with the example of Balkan derivatives with the borrowed Turkish suffix -çi / -ci. This agentive suffix is extremely productive in Turkish so it is not surprising that this very suffix has settled well in the Balkan languages. In most of them, like in Turkish, it assumes the forms [-ʧi/-ʧija] or [-ʤi/-ʤija]. Which of these forms should be regarded as the primary one?

Sjećate se priče o mankurtu iz Ajtmatovljevog romana Dan duži od stoljeća? (I duže od veka traje dan, Prosveta, Beograd 1981). Priča o dječaku kojeg su oteli, kako bi od njeg surovim mučenjem (skidanje skalpa, zamotavanje glave devinom kožom i ostavljanje na suncu, kako bi bol prouzročila potpuno gubljenje pamćenja i svijesti o sebi) stvorili potpuno pokornog roba čija ga svijest o identitetu, ili bilo kakvo pamćenje neće poticati na pobunu. Priča o majci koja odlazi u potragu za svojim sinom, pronalazi ga, podsjeća ga na njegovo porijeklo, na ime njegova oca i njegovo ime, na pleme iz kojeg je potekao. Priča o dječaku koji ostaje poslušan svom gospodaru, i ubija majku.

“ORTAQ TÜRKCƏ” PROBLEMİ: İDDİALAR və İMKANLAR

As it is known, today the problem of "common Turkic" or "common communication for all Turks" has emerged as an ideal for the creation of the "general Turkic literary language" at the end of XIX and beginning of the twentieth century. Many intellectuals were the supporters of the "general literary language", and different opinions were voiced by the same time. In the early years of the Soviet period, the issue of "general Turkic literary language", which was discussed almost without any ideological pressure, was not raised so far. There is a great deal of literature, different ideas and considerations in recent years üith the problem of “Common Turkic”.
