LA MÉTAMORPHOSE DU VIN DANS LES DIALOGUES PLATONICIENS
In this study, we have tried to demonstrate the importance and the change of the significance of wine in two of Plato’s dialogues : The Symposium and The Laws. In the first dialogue, wine is a drink revealing truth and a touchstone for temperance. In the second one, it becomes fire for young people and medicine for old men.
