A Survey and a Comparison with British Analytical Philosophy (The Humanities Press, New York 1967, p. 277ff.), presented here, concerns mainly two problems. The article is written on the basis of the analysis of the original works of the 18-19th century philosophers, poorly known outside Ukraine. The problem of the being of man from the position of the philosophy of heart, characteristic for many Ukrainian religious thinkers is considered. Heart in the context of this philosophy is represented as the centre of the spiritual being of man, the integrity of intuition, reason and will in each individual. The author reveals deep humanism of the Ukrainian cordocentrism, which ennobles man as a person and confirms the highest moral values of freedom, justice, personal happiness.

In Whitehead's scientific heritage Process and Reality is the fullest and the most systematic presentation of the organic cosmology. It is designed as an essay in speculative philosophy. The speculative aspect or mood of thinking is not only accepted, but also considered to be essential for effecting the purposes of this type of reflection. It deals with the most ultimate, metaphysical problems, which are usually ignored by the philosophies concerned with defining and obeying high standards of methodological correctness. Whitehead's intention is to build the seheme of notions and categories, general enough to interpret every element of our experience. The translated chapter is pivotal in the whole of Process and Reality. It is an analysis of the process of becoming, made in systematic language, i.e., in terms of a previously built categoreal scheme. The basis for the analysis is the fundamental and all-embracing intuition of permanence and flux of things present in human experience. This paper is devoted mainly to the description of the categories of "nation" and "people" which appear in the Czech and the Russian Slavophilism. First of all, the author considers the problem of the Classical Slavophilism. By this term the Slavophilism of the first part of the 19th century is meant. Consequently, the problem of the categories of "nation" and "people" are presented in a few contexts. In the Czech Slavophilism the idea of "nation" is closely connected with the problem of language. However, the Slavophils find the real, pure Czech language in a Czech village. In the Russian Slavophilism we can find an ambiguous term "narod" which means "nation" and sometimes "people". For the Russian Slavophils the narod is identified with the people, the peasantry.

Starting with the fact that women are, socially speaking, a heterogeneous category, this paper re-affirms multi-vocality as the approach to women’s experiences. The paper presents and analyses the results of a research project focusing on the Bosniac national minority associations (The Council of the Bosniac Minority and the Association of Bosniac Women) as well as on the Islamic Community in Sisak. The research draws from qualitative methodology, specifically, from focus groups. The starting hypothesis on the continuation of the traditional perception of gender concepts, gender roles and the way they are practiced has been confirmed. The interviewees legitimise their roles as women based on gender, culture and religion. The traditional gender roles are reflected in both the private (division of household labour, parenting) and the public sphere (minority community, labour market). Although the boundaries of the gender roles are perceived as solid and unchangeable, the tendency towards a more flexible and more egalitarian division of roles and responsibilities in the family is visible among the younger interviewees. In spite of the existence of specific experiences, it has been possible to identify more universal experiences that Bosniac/Muslim women share with the rest of the women in Croatia (unemployment, gender income gaps, mobbing...), thus not only emphasising the dialectic relationship between universal and particular women’s experiences but also paving the way for further examination of gender-ethnicity-religion relationships.

For Sociology - Inspired by Anima (Vesna Janković) One of the questions emphasized by M.Petrić in his critical review (Revija za sociologiju, 39[40], 1-2) of the discussion about the second release of V. Katunarić book Women’s Eros and the Civilization of Death is the question about the relationship between sociology and feminism. Even though the proper answer would demand comprehensive research – as would be the case with answers to many other questions raised that evening – the article “Analyzing Analytic Autoethnography” (Ellis and Bochner, 2006), which I have recently read, inspired me to note some thoughts on the topic.

Multicriterial, optimization model was created on the basis of statistical data. Its goal functions should both maximize farm income and agricultural production as well as minimize the loss of organic matter in a soil. To solve the model was used purposeful optimization. The results indicate the structure of production which (under the circumstances): – has the highest farm income, – provides the production of a high standard, for own use and for sale, – prevents the degradation of the environmental long term. The aim of the article is to study the sustainable agriculture development on the example of the average farm in Zachodniopomorskie Province. The essence of sustainable agriculture development is to maintain a balance between production, economic and environmental targets.

The paper is a direct continuation of the author's research, the results of which are presented in the paper [Binderman 2012]. In the present study is using the earlier results and have been done analysis of dynamics in changes in the level of development of agriculture and its differentiation of Polish voivodeships in the years 1998-2010. The study made it possible to measure the growth of level of agriculture in Poland and to made the preparation of the classification of voivodeships due to changes in the period considered.

In the modeling of the variables with complex seasonality for complete time series and with unsystematic data gaps can be used both types of models: with dummy variables and harmonic models. However, in modeling variable with systematic gaps can be used only harmonic models. In these models, each type of fluctuation is described by separate sets of sine- and cosine component. Theoretical considerations are illustrated by an empirical example.

W niniejszej pracy podano nowe współczynniki koncentracji i zgodnie z wymaganymi postulatami, zbadano ich wrażliwość. Współczynniki te wykorzystują metryki Minkowskiego.
