THE STATUS OF OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY UNDERGRADUATE DEPARTMENTS FOR OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY SPECIALIZATION

Summary/Abstract: With the concept of "Occupational Health and Safety", which entered into our lives legally with the enactment of the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 on 20.06.2012; new professions such as "Occupational Safety Specialist", "Occupational Physician" and "Other Health Personnel" have emerged. "Occupational Safety Specialist" is the most popular of these. For this reason, in recent years, many people see this profession as a career opportunity, an additional profession or an alternative profession. In this context, the situation of the 4-year Occupational Health and Safety undergraduate departments, which were established to train individuals who received undergraduate education in this profession, were examined in detail and presented in this study.
