Summary/Abstract: Day by day, the COVID-19 pandemic is spreading. It has been attempted, in the light of certain steps, to slow down its spread. It is understood that the epidemic has long been covered by so much press, which has gained worldwide attention, and news broadcasts make society feel puzzled and even cause fear and panic. In addition, the perception of stress on individuals was examined. In this study, university employees across Turkey, has been selected as the participants associations and employees of various businesses and organizations. A questionnaire study was conducted to better understand and evaluate the content and reliability of COVID-19-related online news by sending these participants a two-part questionnaire with 11 demographic questions and 10 Likert-scale questions. The sample of the study was implemented in the experimental group of 500 people in total. The data of the survey study were analyzed and the statistical methods for making significance by evaluating the normalization tests were carried out with the SPSS 26.0 package program.
