Summary/Abstract: Today, when our consumption habits change day by day and resources are being consumedfaster, sustainability policies have started to take place more in our lives. Cittaslow movementhas also emerged with the aim of protecting existing culture and assets in cities, and it has begunto be widely applied in Turkey. In this research, it is aimed to examine the postgraduate thesesin the field of slow cities (Cittaslow) in Turkey. The postgraduate theses examined within thescope of the research were obtained from the records of the Higher Education Institution ThesisCenter. A total of 97 postgraduate theses, 16 of which were doctoral and 81 master's theses, whichwere prepared between 2010 and 2020 and were allowed access, were examined. This study isimportant in terms of the first content analysis of the theses in the field of Cittaslow in ourcountry. According to the results of the research, it was understood that most of the postgraduatestudies conducted in the field of Cittaslow were master level studies, and articles were mostlyused in the references made in the bibliography. It was determined that the domestic resourcerate in resource utilization was higher at 70%, while the foreign resource utilization rate remainedat a lower level at 30%.
