Summary/Abstract: In 2016, Elena-Camelia Zăbavă was publishing, through Aius Publishing House of Craiova, the study book „Repere lingvistice și culturale” (“Linguistic and cultural marks”), which includes works divided between five sections: 1. Romanian Linguists. Portraits above time; 2. “Forgotten Romanians” in current scientific redactions; 3. Linguistics and culture in academic journals; 4. Linguistic aspects in Romanian press; 5. The Politic – factor of linguistic marginalization. Communism and post communism, followed by a name index. This paper is part of a review of a book signed by Elena-Camelia Zăbavă.
