Water deficit in Poland

Summary/Abstract: In Poland, the problem of water deficit is growing. Difficult access to water and droughts in agriculture show that it is becoming an increasingly valuable resource. Climate change aggravates this situation. There is a need to increase water retention and water efficiency. Some measures have been taken recently and many are planned. Mitigating the effects of water scarcity will depend on their successful implementation in the coming years.
