The reasons for the collapse of Kodak

Summary/Abstract: The crisis may happen to both small and big enterprises. No organization is free from it. Sooner or later an enterprise will have to deal with the situations which may cause serious threats for it. If an enterprise does not use possessed knowledge in suitable time, then a catastrophe may happen for the enterprise. Such a situation happened to Eastman Kodak – the company which for about 130 years was dominating the world of film and cameras. At the beginning of 2012 Kodak filed for bankruptcy. The main aim of this article is to diagnose key reasons which contributed to the collapse of Eastman Kodak as well as to show phases of crisis development in this enterprise.
