Summary/Abstract: The subject matter of the article is the organisational culture of companies operating in the dynamically changing environment. In accordance with the selection of the dimensions and the conditions for its application, the culture has been termed as the organisational culture of risk. The aim of the article is to present the congruence of organizational culture and the influence of environment on the companies’ activities in the future. The article is based on multifaceted research, founded by The Polish Ministry of Education’s grant No. NN 115 319838 ( in the years 2010-2012). The research has been carried out on a statistically representative sample of large and medium-sized enterprises located and operating in Poland.
