Risk management in the face of environmental challenges

Summary/Abstract: The conditions in companies’ environment require constant adjustment. The main concern here is to make use of the events that allow for using the developmental potential of a company, and to limit the negative influence of the events that pose a threat. A risk management system can be a way to adjust to the changing operating conditions. The article provides an evaluation of the frequency of various risk management systems application. In formulating answers concerning risk management, information on the level of the formalization of strategic management was used.
