Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to assess the psycho-emotional impact and how family doctors from Romania have adjusted to the coronavirus pandemic 2019 (COVID-19). The burden of prevention and the effort to adapt to the pandemic were felt significantly more acute by women doctors and general practitioners working in associated offices. Family medicine doctors play an important role in the early detection of disease. Furthermore they act as a fine observer (a “sentinel”) of the health of the community and by this create a useful work system for the National Health Systems and Governments in terms of actions taken to reduce the risk of pandemic by using (tele)- monitoring.
