Summary/Abstract: In this article, the author presents some evolutive aspects of the Jewish educational system in Bacau, starting with the 19th century and the first half of the 20 th century. This research shows the increasing interest of the Jewish community in the organisation of a religions educational system first and of the Jewish-Romanian schools afterwards.
