Summary/Abstract: The standard clauses relating to the use by the parties of the UNIDROIT Principles applicable to international commercial contracts, developed under the aegis of UNIDROIT in 2013, are intended to contribute to the consideration, to a large extent, of the UNIDROIT Principles in the context of international economic transactions. The use of these clauses can involve advantages, but it can also determine, in practice, a number of difficulties. Many issues that may be related to these clauses are analysed in the study on this subject, in various situations, by providing certain solutions other than those indicated in the UNIDROIT comments on the abovementioned standard clauses.
