Summary/Abstract: The switch to digital teaching is a major challenge for both teachers and students. This article sets out to look at the subject of translation studies at the Faculty of Communication Sciences from this point of view. The focus of the article is to show how online teaching takes place in the times of the coronavirus pandemic at Politehnica University of Timisoara and what challenges that students and teachers are dealing with.
