Summary/Abstract: Ceramics is the main category in the funeral inventory found in the Roman necropolises in Apulum. A series of vessels belong to fine ceramics. Sixteen of them are glazed vessels. The finds are discovered both in graves and out of them proceeding from destroyed graves or from a series of ritual the descendants periodically develop for the defunct. We may note that a large part of the glazed vessels found in Apulum are carrying technological faults.
