Summary/Abstract: The main goal of occupational health and safety is to protect the health of employees by providing a safe working environment. Occupational health and safety practices regulated by laws, regulations and standards at the level of states may differ administratively. Although the laws and regulations in our country are mostly shaped in line with European standards, the United States of America, which has enacted the principles of occupational health and safety since 1970, is one of the leading states in this regard. In addition, since it is governed by the state system, the practices vary considerably according to our country. Within the scope of this study, occupational health and safety practices in the United States of America were basically examined.
