Summary/Abstract: In the modern, digital world we live in, technology is everywhere. Technology, in itself, is neither bad nor good; she is what people make her to be. It can make our lives easier only if used properly. Millions of people around the world have succeeded and are discovering the good sides of technology in the times in which we live. Technology is changing the way we live and has brought about changes in society. Automation has increased productivity. Robots change workers in production. Research has shown that innovations in technology and manufacturing have influenced structural changes in various areas of society. The wave of changes has affected the communication system and the emergence of social networks. The changes have embraced religion and culture. The Internet and globalization have strongly influenced the development of democracy and human rights. The ideals of freedom, equality and democratic participation, emerging in the last few centuries, have served as drivers of far-reaching social and political change. Economic, political and cultural factors influence social change. The development of science and secularization have contributed to the critical attitude and innovation of the modern world. The trend of changes in the field of work has continued and new forms of work flexibility have emerged.
