Summary/Abstract: Tiupa explores one of the strategic aspects of narrative discourse and the problem ofinnovative narratological research. Building on Paul Ricoeur’s notion of the discourse ofnarrative plot, Tiupa introduces the rhetorical category of the “ethos” that supports thetypological characterisation of different phenomena of narrative literary production.
