Organization of Reposing in Traditional Culture of Rural Population in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Summary/Abstract: The subject of this paper is the organization of nightly reposing in rural areas of Bosnia and Hezegovina in the 19th and the first half of the 20th century, with a special focus on the shape of beds and their content. The household issues related to human biological need for sleep and rest, are herein articulated through the introduction and three chapters, the first being - the organization of reposing in family settlement, the second - organization of reposing in residential building and the third - characterstic forms of beds.
