The modem processes and culture of inhabitansy in the rural environment in Bosna and Hercegovina

Summary/Abstract: The subject of review in this paper is the recent changes in the living culture among the village population in Bosna and Hercegovina, with special accent to the characteristic forms of the dwellings, erected during the 1980's and the 1990's and their interior decoration. In the last twenty years changes have occured in the living culture in majority of village settlements. The traditional type of forms of the buildings are definitely abandoned; as well as the home appliences, and the entire organization of the household. The homes erected during this period resemble the individual city type houses, in the structure and the interior. A greater number of them are erected by industrial materials and to a certain degree they respect the arcitectural layout. There is a dominance of three modern type exterior models. The multy level type of homes prevail, and those with a lower habitable story. The homes have a two-bedroom lay-out, and according to the needs of the family they can be easily adapted.
