Summary/Abstract: Combined application of special investigative techniques and „protected witness“ will lead to increased efficiency in the collection of indisputable information and facts to prove the key version of accusation in criminal proceedings in the Republic of Bulgaria. By achieving a synergistic effect in today's conditions inspires more confidence in the activities of the operational-search and investigative work for reliable suppression of serious and organized crime in Bulgaria. The synergistic effect between the special investigative techniques and the „protected witness“ – a guarantee for achieving positive results in the course of proof in criminal proceedings.
