Nowadays, the competition is no longer between companies but instead between supply chains. The performance of ‘SCM’ has become the decisive factor in satisfying varied demands with minimum cost. The 'SCM' or supply chain management ensures the fluidity and control of flows throughout the supply chain of raw materials until the delivery of the finished product to the customer. Different dimensions relating to supply chain performance 'SCP' have been considered in several researches, these works mainly aim at the qualification of the efficiency and the effectiveness at the level of the supply chains. Exploit the information to improve processes and/or results is central to most supply chain management activities and effective ‘SC’ supply chain practices can increase information processing capability. This chapter provides panoply in the form of overviews on the determinants of a successful supply chain.
