The Motivation Skill of the Messenger of Allah, P.b.u.h.

Summary/Abstract: The mission carried out by Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, was an expression of God’s mercy towards all beings, and especially towards man, who was chosen by God to be the crown of creation. By promoting God’s Word, he led people out of the darkness of superstition, delusion, lies and injustice into the light of truth, pure faith, peace and justice. Among the important aspects that the Prophet, p.b.u.h., affirmed in his work was his all-inspiring motivational technique which stimulated people to constantly do good for the development of human capital and Islamic civilization. There is no doubt that the motivational skill of the Prophet, p.b.u.h., was unique; rather than employing a carrot-and stick approach, he used a wide range of methods that encouraged people to spread grace and tirelessly search for new ways of doing good. This article aims to explore the Prophet’s (p.b.u.h.) motivational work by identifying and analyzing its types, methods and means. Methodology used in the research that preceded the writing of this paper was diverse, including the method of textual analysis and synthesis, the method of description and the method of abstraction and concretization.
