Summary/Abstract: The present text is an evocation of Archbishop Teofil Herineanu of Cluj, since whose death 30 years have passed this year. The one commemorated is evoked as a bishop, or a servant of the Church, and as a man. As a bishop, he always had an admiration for his predecessors and a special reverence for the Holy Liturgy. He was a modest and humble servant. As a person, he had a sensitive and emotional nature. He knew others well and valued people.
